Platform Engineering: Director of Platform Engineering
Tellme Networks is a world leader in the development of VoiceXML applications. Tellme is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering to report directly to the Vice President of Network Engineering. The Director of Platform Engineering will be responsible for leading the engineering teams that design and implement the software comprising the Tellme platform. The individual in this role will work with Product Management to define new product concepts and innovation. They will help lead quarterly planning for new platform features.

Requirements:
• Experience building highly available and robust server systems.
• A proven track record leading large engineering teams and delivering large software efforts on time and of consistently high quality.
• Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills including customer presentation skills .
• Must be effective at influence across organizations.
• Experience with Solaris x86 operating system.
• Experience with one or more of the following preferred: SIP, VoIP, speech recognition, VoiceXML

Additional Info: 7+ years experience managing a team of software
engineers to architect and design server software products highly desirable.
