Network Operations: Network Operations Analyst
The Network Operations Analyst should have the solid technical abilities of a UNIX System Administrator, coupled with a client-centric attitude to keep our premier VXML network running at peak efficiency/uptime. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a calm, professional demeanor regardless of the scale of a given issue that may face them. The candidate will join a high-energy company and a team of very dedicated individuals working one of five shifts that are eight or twelve hours in length. This position handles both Tier I and Tier II escalations for the Tellme Service. The candidate must have strong trouble-shooting skills and excellent decision-making skills. In this position, the candidate will learn and be responsible for the many services offered by Tellme Networks, and will require a mix of disciplines to administer those services. The candidate should have a very firm grasp of UNIX systems administration (SAGE III - Intermediate Level), scripting skills (Perl and Shell), network management, and be willing to learn telco terminology.

Requirements:
• Solaris X86 administration
• Have a firm understanding of TCP/IP networks
• Understand, Create, and Debug shell and perl scripts
• Highly focused attention to detail
• Must be able to troubleshoot in a highly complex environment
• Must take ownership of issues and pursue resolutions to those issues tenaciously
• Must be able to disseminate information effectively and communicate with the rest of the team's members
• Must be self motivated and continually providing feedback to better the network and Tellme Networks as a whole
