Client Success, Solution Director
A Solution Director (SD) is responsible for managing Tellme's enterprise customers, including their overall satisfaction and profitability for the company. An SD is responsible for signing off on the feasibility, timeframe, and pricing of any proposals sent to the customer and is accountable for ensuring that Tellme takes on only projects where the customer's expectations can be fully met and exceeded. An SD works as a senior member of the account team, overseeing and supervising the Project Manager's work on application implementation and owns all business issues relevant to keeping the project on track. An SD manages the customer relationship, networking throughout the customer's organization to build executive level support for Tellme and works in partnership with the sales team to identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities within the account. An SD is also responsible for accurately forecasting revenue and expenses for each customer and updating each regularly. The primary point of contact during customer incidents, a SD is available 24/7 via pager and cell phone.
Requirements:
- Positive, can do attitude.
- 5+ years customer relationship building and management experience. Ability to successfully build relationships with senior executives.
- 3+ years managing complex customer projects including scope creep and setting customer expectations. Ability to track lower level project issues yet see the bigger picture. Experience managing and motivating project teams.
- Solid technical skills. Ability to communicate with engineers, quickly understand technology and explain it in non-technical terms to business people.
- Impeccable communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal form and resolve conflict.
- Excellent time management, organizational and follow up skills including attentiveness to detail and ability to multitask.
- Sales skills. Experience supporting and assisting in deal closing by working with sales people in the field.
- Solid problem solving skills. Ability to analyze issues and quickly decide appropriate course of action.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience with speech/phone/IVR technologies a plus.
- PMI certification a plus.
- Degree in a technology related or business-related field (MBA or MS) is a plus.
