Volunteer
Because the Festival is 100% admission-free, we rely on individuals and groups in the Bay Area to pitch in and help make some performances happen. Volunteers are one of our most valuable resources and contribute in a variety of duties, including:

Not only do volunteers provide a valuable service to the Festival, but it s also a great way to spend an afternoon or an evening. The interaction with the patrons, many of whom attend Festival performances season after season, offers a first-hand experience of the diversity and personality of the Bay Area. At intermission or immediately following the performance, volunteers help collect the donations from the audience that make it all possible. Volunteers walk away from the performances knowing that they really helped make the day a success.
