Community-based invention website: Quirky.com

interesting new site that invites anyone to submit and idea or contribute to an existing invention idea. profit sharing model (“influencers”) included.

the idea is to bring “community developed” products to the marketplace. Example: Marc Zech had an idea for a double-sided mini hard drive (one USB plug might hold personal data, the other work data). He submitted his notion to Quirky.com, and then, a few weeks later, the Split Stick is being manufactured.

currently running an ipod-themed contest: SUBMISSIONS WILL BE FREE.

My invention is a backpack with a hood. If it is raining you can unzip the pocket on the top of the bag and take out the attached hood so your head could be covered.

I invented an ostomy shower bag for my husband when he had to wear an ostomy (he had colon cancer). I sumitted the idea to a Paten attorney The Law Office of David P. Gaudio, P.C., I spent about $2,500.00 and ran out of money so I could not proceed any longer but I do have a drawing from them I do have a proto type also they did do the research to make sure that this product was not a copy and we were in the process of trying to get somone to purchase the patan with having royalty paid to me unfortunately I could not continue as they said I would have to pay another $2,500.00 so everything was left up in the air, is there anything that can be done on this.

I’m sorry to say but I’m pretty sure you were scammed out your hard earned money. PLEASE do not give this law firm another dime.
