The West Prize was launched in 2008 with the mission to find exciting new artists and adding them to the West Collection
The West Prize will again award the 10 finalists $10,000 each from the acquisition funds, which is used to add their work to the West Collection. The application deadline is November 1, 2009 and artists must be 18 years or older and can live anywhere in the world.
