An interesting take on the upcoming “Drupal Gardens”. It works well for WordPress and I’m sure a hosted solution will work well in growing the Drupal community also. I prefer the simplicity of WordPress unless there is a justification for the features of Drupal. But this could give me an excuse to use Drupal for simple sites also. I look forward to seeing how you deal with the limits of the WYSIWYG editor.
Not too long ago, Acquia announced Drupal Gardens – the SaaS-based Drupal-in-a-box. Drupal has been known to be difficult to implement, and to some degree to use. Drupal Gardens attempts to address both of these issues. And based on the video demo, it looks like Acquia has started to skin both cats.
